The palm spring is a condo on the west side of Cancun that has been sitting vacant for about five years.
The project has been the subject of a few iterations over the years, but the latest proposal from developer Conda Com is the most detailed and ambitious to date.
The new condo will be located on a portion of the beach that was once a parking lot and was then converted into a hotel, retail space, and a restaurant.
The palm tree will be planted at the top of the condo.
There is no price tag on the project at this time, but Conda has been paying about $1 million per unit for the property.
The building will feature a two-story, four-bedroom condo, a two and a half-bathroom condo, and three bedrooms.
Conda says the new unit will have floor to ceiling windows, and the units will be equipped with heat and air conditioning.
The Palm Spring condo is set to open to the public in spring 2018, and Conda is planning on leasing out the entire lot.
The condo has a $2 million asking price.
