FLORIDA — Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman announced on Wednesday that he has added infielder Nick Hausman to his depth chart.
Hausman, who is from West Virginia, has played for Tampa Bay this season.
He played third base and second base for the Lightning last season.
He is 6-foot-4 and weighed 215 pounds.
He hit .260 with 12 homers and 58 RBIs last season, including 10 home runs and 41 RBIs in 71 games.
He was the fourth-best prospect in the Rays organization entering the 2016 season, according to Baseball America.
