Aussie golfer Jordan Spieth will begin his season in the USA on Friday when he plays his first round of matches at Augusta National in Augusta, Georgia.
Spieth is just two weeks from the US Open, which starts on Friday.
He will face British veteran Jamie Murray on Sunday and then will travel to the US for the second round on Friday to face Australian Nick Kyrgios.
Speth, who was born in the United Kingdom and is a citizen of the US, has been linked to a move to the United States this year.
He is also linked to the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The US Open has never been played in New York City and will instead be played in Augusta National.
Spieth is the first Australian to qualify for the Masters since Adam Scott in 2007.
Australian golfer Nick Kyrgyzhan also made the cut at Augusta, but has yet to play a round of golf.
Kyrgis has already won the US Amateur, the World Junior, the USGA and the British Open.
He is currently the No. 2 ranked player in the world according to the latest rankings from ESPN.
The Australian Open will kick off at 4pm (AEST).
